Review
I used the new Cinefx for a university short film project. While it was a bit shaky at times, particularly when I got near the end of the edit and was dealing with a large amount of data at one time, overall it performed well.
The learning curve is relatively ok, providing you have a general working knowledge of video editing software, this application is no different.
For a free and open source app, this is a viable option. But I must say for a larger scale project I’d opt for a more professional platform.
