Given the collaborative nature of the OSLiving project and the need for continual devlopment of the site, we welcome devoted and talented individuals to join the OSLiving team. You may be looking to gain some experience, to work alongside like-minded OSS enthusiasts or perhaps you just want to participate in an awesome project! Listed below are some of the roles we are seeking help with.
Archive administrator / Co-Editor: This would involve validating new submissions to the Archivein accordance with standards and licensing defined by OSI. Could also involve researching new OSS, applications and projects of excellence for inclusion in the Archive.
Archive developer: This would involve an occasional assessment of the Archive, looking for improvements in usability and devising solutions to meet any proposed development work.
Education officer: This would involve developing documentation in specific areas of the Archive; from developing a Open Source jargon-buster glossary to providing information on licensing and generally overseeing software descriptions and presentation.
Publicity officer: This would involve work on promotion of the Archive through a variety of non-commercial means.
Logo designer: This would involve working on the creation of logos for the Archive, the Community and Sourced. It would also involve work on some publicity banners and OSLiving badges in connection with the publicity officer.
Community Moderator: This would involve moderating sections of the Community Forums, manipulating posts, addressing common annoyances and genereally guiding the forums in an informed and constructive direction.

Co-Editor: This would involve occasional contributions to Sourced but also require editing submissions from regular and occasional contributors. It would As a co-editor you could also opt for scouting new topics, conducting interviews and writing reviews.

Through its Community Facebook Page and exciting multi-authored publication, Sourced, OS Living houses informed discussion on issues of import in the Open Source field.
