Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for programs that run well on machines (Linux or Windows) without a lot of RAM or hard disk space.

I've been running across some interesting applications like mtpaint, flphoto, fltdj, hyperlist, searchmonkey, dmenu, picaxo, feh, scrot, fldiff.

Does anyone have any other recommendations to add to the list.  Thanks.

It's called "Open Source Living." It should list open source software, not free/demo/shareware. People who don't care if it's open source should go to any of the other billion freebie download sites. If you agree, show your support and say so in your signature too.

Lightweight PDF reading doesn't get any skinnier than SumatraPDF
