    Piwik is web analytics software that provides in-depth reports on your website visitors, your popular pages, search engine keywords, languages used and much more.

    What makes Piwik unique is:

    - Modular plugin system: new features can be added and unnecessary stats can be removed.

    - You own your data. Since Piwik is installed on your server, the data is stored in your own database and you can retrieve statistics using open APIs (access data in numerous formats: xml, json, php, csv)

    - The user interface is fully customizable, you can drag and drop the widgets you want to display and create the reports you want.
