Pligg is an Open Source ‘Web 2.0′ CMS. Pligg is a combination of social networking, collaborative bookmarking and blogging where users can create, consume and rate content.
Each submitted news item has a vote button, URL and optionally a short description. Visitors may vote and comment on any item. The most voted upon items are automatically sent to the home page, held in the queue.
Pligg is often referred to as a ‘digg clone’.
