PixelPost is an open source photoblog application powered by PHP and MySQL, developed for publishing photos on a chronological basis.
It’s main features include multilingual capability, comment function, Exif support, spam filtering, categories, tagging and much more.
It also offers a wide range of templates and addons to extend the basic feature set.

I am very satisfied with the progress of PixelPost
Version 1.7 is really a good choice
Installation is a breeze, use is easy and the result great
so up the thumbs!
Pixelpost was easy to install. And I like the ability for web visitors to switch from the dark theme to the light and vice versa. Commenting capabilities…RSS and Atom feeds are automatically churned with an in-built ping service within the Admin configuration (option) dashboard.
Now the cons:
1. No way to create subcategories except to rename it like ENTERTAINMENT:: GAMES and ENTERTAINMENT:CELEBRITIES
2. You’d have to have some CSS knowledge in order to change layouts etc.
Overall there’s really nothing to complain about for this is a FREE software. I see potentials for improvements to this very nice blogging software.
(P.S. I am busy testing blogging software so you may see me on “trial” with another blogging platform but that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy Pixelpost.)
