DynamicReports allows you to create dynamic report designs without the need for a visual report designer. Create fast and easy reports and export them to a range of popular formats including PDF, Excel, Word and others.

Key software features include:

- User-friendly: only a very small amount of code is needed to create a report and it makes complex reports easy to maintain and understand.

- Dynamic report design: the design of each report is created in simple Java code. You can implement any logic in your code which decides how the report will look like. This makes it ideal for ad-hoc reporting where it is necessary to create reports dynamically.

- Inherited report design: a design can even be inherited from another design. This is impossible in static report designs designed in visual designers.

- And much more. For a full feature list, see here.

Below are some screenshots of reports made with DynamicReports.

Task Coach is a simple open source todo manager to keep track of personal tasks and todo lists.

Task Coach is a simple open source todo manager to keep track of personal tasks and todo lists.

It grew out of a frustration that most task managers do not provide facilities for composite tasks. Often, tasks and other things todo consist of several activities. Task Coach is designed to deal with composite tasks.

In addition, it offers effort tracking, categories, and notes. Task Coach is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, BSD, and iPhone and iPod Touch.

<nr>(Screenshot of MAC OSX version of Task Coach)

Its core features include the following:

- Create, edit, and delete tasks and subtasks.
- Attribute tasks with a subject, description, priority, start date, due date, a completion date and an optional reminder.
- Tasks can recur on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
- Tasks can be viewed as a list or as a tree.
- Tasks can be sorted by all task attributes, e.g. subject, budget, budget left, due date, etc.
- Several filters to e.g. hide completed tasks or view only tasks that are due today.
- Tasks can be created by dragging an e-mail message from Outlook or Thunderbird onto a task viewer.
- Attachments can be added to tasks, notes, and categories by dragging and dropping files, e-mail messages from Outlook or Thunderbird, or URL’s onto a task, note or category.

And much more. See the full feature list here.

MyNotex is a free software for Linux useful to manage various textual notes. Notes are gathered under different subjects and are made by a title, a date and a free-length text, which can be formatted (change of font color, size and name, and setting italic, bold, underline and strikethrough); the software can also manage bullets and numbered lists, although without automatic indentation. A file of MyNotex contains various subjects and notes – even a large number of them, which can be encrypted with AES algorithm; the software exports data in html format and allows synchronization between two files.
