Social music

Last.fm integration – Amarok can submit information about your played tracks to your Last.fm profile, thus letting you use rich set of Last.fm features, like statistics, charts and more. Use Amarok to listen to Last.fm internet streams, which follow your music taste.

Rip CDs, play and sync your iPod, create playlists, and burn audio and MP3 CDs. Most portable music devices are supported.

Banshee also has support for podcasting, smart playlists, music recommendations, and much more.

Songbird runs on Mozilla’s XULRunner platform, thus capable of running on Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, and most distributions of Linux.

On the Windows and Macintosh platforms, Songbird utilizes the VideoLAN Client for media playback. For Linux, Songbird utilizes the GStreamer Media Framework instead of VideoLAN.
